These 44 mm chronographs combine ceramic bezel, pushpieces and screwlocked crown, “Méga-Tapisserie” dial, robust rubber straps and water resistance to 100 m.
This year continues the tradition with these highly engineered ceramic chronographs. In a range of different camouflage colours, they are made for trailblazers.
Harder than steel, ceramic withstands high temperatures, thermal shocks, scratches and the passing years. Colouring ceramic requires a complex research stage to find the right pigments, as well as a long and delicate manufacturing process.
While the blue and green models feature a stainless steel case, the brown model is endowed with an 18-carat pink gold case that nicely sets off the bezel’s brown ceramic, used for the first time at Audemars Piguet.
